Boundary Committee draft proposals published
The independent Boundary Committee for England has today published its draft proposals for patterns of unitary local government in Suffolk. The proposal for Suffolk is:
- Ipswich and Felixstowe unitary authority, 'North Haven' (lead authority IBC)
- Suffolk unitary authority, excluding Lowestoft (lead authority SCC)
The proposals are available on the Boundary Committee website www.boundarycommittee.org.uk (opens in a new window) and are open for public consultation until Friday 26 September.
The proposed option for Norfolk is a single unitary county.
